### What are Quark-Hadron Hybrid Stars?

Quark Hadron Hybrid Stars (HS) are a sort of compact objects, built with small quark core at the centre. The biggest differences between HS and ordinal quark stars (QS) are the existence of crust made by hadronic matter.

HS are more likely to exist than quark stars, because the central densities are just above them of neutron stars (NS). HS and NS can co-exist with a single equation of state (EoS). In QS case, the EoS should be strongly softened, and cannot support the mass of observed NSs ($\sim 1.4 M_\odot$)

Considering cooling processes, even the existence of HS is not 100% safe, but it strongly depends on the EoS.
